On this page are two interviews with filmmaker Terry Gilliam, both on the UK Channel 4’s chat show The Last Resort, hosted by Jonathan Ross.
The first was broadcast on Friday April 10, 1987 – when the shooting of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen was about to start. Other guests on the show were comedian Dawn French, Tom Jones and Dr Ruth.
The second interview with Gilliam took place on 11th November 1988. At this point, the postproduction of Munchausen was nearly finished, and the German premiere of the picture was soon to take place.
